The Republican and Democratic legislators on Wednesday have introduced the American Security Drone Act 2019, that will prohibit federal agencies from buying DJI and other drones manufactured in China or any other country. Briefly speaking, if this act will come into force, it will affect different entities of the federal government.

In accordance with this bill, representatives of the federal government will be given 180 days to stop utilization of drones from China and other countries which pose a threat to national security. Moreover, law enforcement agencies and local police forces won’t get federal funding for buying of prohibited unmanned aerial vehicles.
