On Sunday, The Israel Defense Forces shooted unknown device in the Golan Heights, which was taken for unmanned aerial vehicle violating Israeli airspace.

Following the incident, IDF made a decision that no drone had crossed the border, and moved back to former routine.

The similar incident took place on August 21 when crop-dusting aircraft flying over the Golan Heights was taken for Syrian hostile drone and consequently was attacked by Israeli military. The pilot wasn’t wounded.
