Appearance of unauthorised drone impeded the suppression of bushfire in Baldivis and posed a menace to firefighters. The incident took place last Wednesday.

City of Rockingham in it’s statement emphasized that indispensable aerial means couldn’t start the fire-fighting operations for the reason of detection of suspicious drone. Individuals, in the case of illegal operating of unmanned aerial vehicle in the vicinity of fire, will be obliged to pay a penalty up to $10,500.
