Calgary Police Service and Transport Canada have initiated investigation into 2 drone-related incidents. The first took place on Monday. A suspicious drone was detected when flying over McMahon Stadium, where the Canadian Football League match between Calgary Stampeders and Edmonton Elks was taking place. The second incident occured on Tuesday. Law enforcement authorites reported that the drone was flying over crowds near City Hall and Olympic Plaza. In accordance with Canadian law, UAV operators aren’t allowed to operate UAVs in crowded areas without special permission from the authorities.
