Drone interfered with a game
The Federal Aviation Administration initiated another investigation after drones were illegally operated over SRP Park twice in the course of an Augusta GreenJackets game which occured last week. Following the incident, the play was suspended for a total of 10 minutes, due to Catie Jagodzinski, director of marketing for the GreenJackets. In accordance with policy adopted by league, all players, coaches and umpires are obliged to leave the field until the problem is settled. Taking into account that the GreenJackets informed FAA and and Minor League Baseball about both drone activites, the FAA focuses on investigation of illegal drone use and does not have criminal prosecution authority.
