On October 28, law enforcement authorities from Kingston, Canada, arrived at the parking lot at 410 Bath Rd. after receiving information about suspicious persons who were in the car and exploiting the drone in close vicinity to the correctional facility “Collins Bay Institution”. After arriving at the scene, the police detained two men. During a conversation with them, the police spotted several packed items in the car. After the arrest of the suspects and a search, drugs were seized, as well as a loaded pistol of 9 mm caliber. Both were charged with using a drone, carrying weapons without an appropriate license, and possession of illegal drugs.
