Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, William P. Hobby Airport, Dulles International Airport, Newark Liberty International Airport together with 7 other companies were included into the expansion of FAA’s Low Altitude Authorization and Capability.

LAAC is a crucial program aimed at ensuring of secure integration of unmanned aerial vehicles into airspace at the expense of close cooperation between Federal Aviation Administration and Unmanned Aircraft Systems industry. At the same time the program gives opportunity for drone operators to get more rapid access to the controlled airspace.

Companies which were incorporated into program are: Avision, Airspacelink, Drone Up, Botlink, Collins Aerospace, Simulyze, Skygrid.
