A drone was intercepted in Africa
According to reliable sources, last Monday, April 10, the Central African Armed Forces (FACA) intercepted a drone that was most likely used for espionage and belonged to the UN peacekeeping mission in the Central African Republic MINUSCA. The incident occurred while security forces were monitoring Bangui Airport and FACA’s fleet of helicopters and planes. Using the anti-drone system, the drone was forced to land in FACA-controlled territory. According to the available information, the reconnaissance drone was of the Mavic type and had an inventory number indicating that the device was the property of the United Nations (UN).
