Last week, a Belarusian citizen was arrested by Smorgon border security forces. Search activities in the Ashmyany district resulted in a stop of a car driven by a man, a citizen of Belarus. In the course of inspection of the vehicle a drone with a remote control, a radio station and other material goods was detected. The legislation of Belarus does not provide for the possibility of using and (or) owning a UAV in the border zone, as well as leaving it outside the territory of settlements located in the border zone without  informing the border security forces.
