A new order came into force in Russia

In Russia, on September 7, the Ministry of Internal Affairs adopted a new order , according to which special services will be able to neutralize hostile UAVs if they pose a threat to the health and life of civilians.

The list of special services that are legally entitled to eliminate the threat from hostile UAVs includes the following governmental entities: the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Guard of Russia, the Federal Security Service, the Federal Protective Service, the Foreign Intelligence Service.

Particular attention will be paid to the monitoring of suspicious drone activity during mass events. In case when law enforcement officers fail to disrupt the communication between UAV and its operator, the device will immediately be shooted down.
