A drone operator received a suspended sentence after admitting his guilt in posing a threat to the safety of an historic Second World War Hurricane aircraft at  local carnival. The incident occured on 9 July 2022 during a fly of the RAF’s Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Hurricane aircraft in the airspace over the Buxton Carnival in Derbyshire. A drone was at the distance of a few feet from  the rare and historic aircraft.
