All is well that ends well
Details of another drone-related incident were revealed by The UK air safety board. Incident occured at Heathrow Airport. The incident involved an Airbus A220 and a UAV and occured at around 1.48pm. The Airprox Board, which is responsible for data gathering and risk assesment of incidents came to conclusion that risk of a collision was absent. The A220 pilot informed that a plane was in the immediate vicinity to Heathrow Airport, around 11 nautical miles from their final place of destination, when the pilot and first officer witnessed UAV being at a distance of 50m from the the right side of the aircraft.
