The border police and Punjab Police law enforcement officers on Sunday initiated search operations after 2 drone incidents took place in the immediate vicinity of the India-Pakistan border in Gurdaspur and Amritsar district respectively. The first incident occured at the Kassowal area of Gurdaspur. when the workers of the border police heard a really strange, buzzing sound.
The second incident occured in the area being under the control of Channa Pattan border outpost (BoP). Soldiers were forced to open a fire with the purpose of destroying a drone attempting to cross the Indian border.
