A suspicious drone was landed by Defence systems located at Iraq’s Ain al-Asad air base. The U.S.-led international military coalition stressed in it’s statement that operational exercises took place in the airbase that involved the exploitation of drone neutralization system. Moreover, Iraqi military representatives made an assumption that the drone could be used for hostile purposes emphasizing at the same time that it still remains unknown whether the device was on a surveillance mission or if it was  equipped with dangerous explosive materials. Fortunately, no one sustained injuries and no damage was caused to the buildings and equipment.
