A U.S. contractor died and five American service members sustained injuries together with another U.S. contractor, as a result of a drone attack occuring in northeast Syria on Thursday, in accordance with the Pentagon. A drone, which was manufactured in Iran, attacked a maintenance facility of a coalition base located in the immediate vicinity from Hasakah. Medical help on site was provided to 2 service members who sustained injuries, and the three others and the U.S. contractor were delivered to coalition hospital in Iraq following the incident. Investigation is underway.
