A man was sentenced for two years of imprisonment on Thursday after he confessed his guilt in pointing a laser at anunmanned aircraft. In the course of court’s hearing, Nicholas James Link, 43, from Rochester, Minnesota, stressed in a statement it wasn’t common knowledge that  pointing a laser at aircraft posed a significant threat. The judge didn’t take into consideration Link’s defense argument and made an emphasis on his ‘extensive’ criminal record, which involves a large amount of domestic assaults.
