Mexican drug cartels deployed a drone to attack Mexican police officers. The attack took place in the Mexican city of El Aguaj. El Aguaje is located in the western part of Mexico and has become a famous battleground for Mexican drug cartels.

The Courier-Journal reported that when Michoacan State police were conducting a routine operation in the area, an errant UAV flew over them and dropped a bomb filled with gunpowder. As a result of the attack, two servicemen sustained injuries.
