Kuala Lumpur City Hall in collaboration with a private company is testing unmanned aerial vehicles to disinfect tall buildings.

In accordance with the statement made by Annuar Musa, Federal Territories Minister, testing of UAVs is conducted to evaluate the practicality of devices. If drones can efficiently carry out the task at high altitude, then it will be possible to save a lot of time and there will be no need for the employment of qualified work force. The tested drones can conduct the flight for 20 minutes and transport 16 litres of disinfectant.
