The cases of illegal drug smuggling into the USA with the help of drones became more frequent. A huge number of such cases took place in the City of Yuma, located in Arizona.

Firstly, border patrol officers were lucky enough to seize a package containing approximately 463 grams of methamphetamine, worth about $ 3,000. Secondly, unknown lawbreakers in Mexico used UAV with the purpose of illicit сocaine smuggling, weighing in at 11 kg to the USA . Another suspicious UAV was detected on Sunday, but at the same time, border control officers didn’t manage to identify the location of the illegal substances.

Border patrol officers emphasized that there has been an increase in the number of illegal use of drones with the aim of illegal drug smuggling from Mexico to the United States.
