Japan intends to tackle UAVs threats
The Japanese government is concerned about an increase in the number of cases of illegal drone use. In this regard, the authorities intend by 2025 to develop effective lasers that will shoot down hostile UAVs that pose a threat to the safety of people and critical infrastructure. The government will require $ 42 million to accomplish this goal. The Japanese Ministry of Defense is working closely with Kawasaki Heavy to ensure that the project will be implemented.
