On Thursday morning, the Israel Defense Forces managed to shoot down a hostile drone, trying to penetrate Israeli airspace. The drone apparently belonged to the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah. At the same time, the authorities did not provide any information as to whether the device was equipped with explosive substances. All that is known it was a reconnaissance UAV.

The military in their statement emphasized that law enforcement agencies deploy highly effective defense systems to protect state borders from unauthorized entry of drones.
