Man illegaly operated a drone during the Singapore’s National Day Parade
On October 2 Tan Jin Kang, a Singapore Citizen, was accused of operating a drone during the NDP 2019 in a special area where such moves were prohibited.
In accordance with a statement made by the local police, the drone was tracked and consequently confiscated.
Police officers also emphasized that such activity is considered to be a serious violation of law, because unmanned aerial vehicles can not be operated in a special event zones without a special permission.
For commiting such a crime Tan can be sentenced to up a year in prison and will be obliged to pay a fine maximum of $20,000.
