New counter-drone solution, created by UK company Operational Solutions, has been installed in Heathrow Airport in order to minimize threats posed by hostile UAV illegally operating in the airspace.

The advantages of a new system include the ability to determine the location of operator and transmit his whereabouts to law-enforcement agencies.

Mark Legh-Smith, Founder and CEO of Operation Solutions, claimed that company is pleased to deliver it’s UAV detection system to the airport.
