According to a statement made by the Syrian oil ministry a hostile drone attacked a tanker near a refinery located in the city of Baniyas. As a result, a fire broke out on the tanker and significant material damage was caused. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights takes a different point of view regarding the attack. It supposes that a tanker was attacked by missile. Besides, it is still unclear where the ship came from. An investigation is underway.
