A video on which Chilean protesters used multiple laser beams to land a police drone spread into different social media sites.

Main reasons for protests which started about a month ago in Santiago, capital of Chile, were connected with significant increase in metro prices and social disparities that exist in the country. Chile belongs to one of the most prosperous countries of South America, but at the same time there is a highest income inequality comparing to 36 countries which participate in Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.

Protesters used lasers because with their help unmanned aerial vehicle can be shot down rapidly. Some people are convinced in laser’s ability to melt the plastic on the drone.
