Berlin intends to protect prisons from unauthorized drone invasions.

According to data from the Berlin Office of Justice, the last drone incidents were recorded in 2017. In 2016, there were only six incidents recorded.

Nevertheless, the Berlin authorities aspire to implement so-called “geofencing”. This means the creation of virtual fences that can prevent the drone from entering the prison premises. The issue of creating geofences will be considered by the ministers at the conference, which will be carried out in the fall.
