Military personel and law enforcement authorities combined forces and resemed a search on Wednesday for a civilian drone that fell to the ground after being operaed in the immediate vicinity of a U.S. THAAD missile defense unit in a southern county the previous day, in accordance with officials. The search operation is carried out in areas located near the base in Seongju, while police are doing their utmost to  establish the identity of a drone operator and determine the aim of the use of the device. The Army representatives emphasized that there is a small probability that  the drone was deployed for espionage.
