Singapore can protect itself from unpleasant drone attacks
Singapore is certain that it can protect itself from hostile drones following the recent attack on Saudi Arabia’s oil facilities.
Minister for Defence Ng Eng Hen claimed that Singapore Armed Forces has improved its protective measures against unmanned aerial vehicles over the past decade.
For example, the Republic of Singapore Air Force has already begun using more efficient sensors like the G550 airborne early warning aircraft and multi-mission radar.
Among other examples are: SAF’s ground- based air defence systems called Spyder and Aster-30. Spyder can intercept more remote targets while Aster-30 is able at the same time counter hostile aircrafts and missiles.
