On Saturday Kansai International Airport stopped its operations for one hour after the detection of suspicious drone flying over the airport.

According to a statement made by Ministry of Transport and airport officials, the unmanned aerial vehicle firstly was noticed near Terminal 2 and then at the runway at around 8 a.m. Runways were reopened at 9:24 a.m.

The device hasn’t been found yet.
