The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority has simplified drone legislation. However, in accordance with the statement of the governmental entity, owners of unmanned aerial vehicles may be civilians over the age of 18. In addition, applicants for drone license must have a commercial enterprise registered in Kenya. Uavs pilots will also have a chance for applying for a temporary permit which will be valid up to 1 month with the possibility of extension only once.
