The Pentagon has acquired a new anti-drone system

The American company Fortem Technologies has signed a lucrative contract with the Pentagon on the delievery of its anti-drone solution called Drone Hunter. The US governmental entity spent millions of dollars on this device.
Drone Hunter is AI-based drone that uses a net to catch hostile UAV. The use of net is possible only when the object is in visual line of sight. The system is also equipped with a radar that helps to determine the location of the UAV.
This unmanned aerial vehicle differs from other anti-drone solutions in that when using the net, the drone does not pose a threat to other people and at the same time does not crash, so you can try to identify the device’s owner.
