The incident took place on Saturday. According to the statement made by Eish Singhal, Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi), police have arrested two citizens of the USA – a father and a son – for the illegal use of drones near presidential palace and PM office. They were delivered to the police department for interrogation.

During the interrogation, the Americans сonfessed to the illegal use of drone and claimed that the original purpose was to exploit it in order to shoot a video for a portal, where they were employed. They also told that they didn’t know about the prohibition of drone flights in this area.
