Part of Dehli’s mass transit Metro Rail was closed over the weekend for security reasons after UAV transporting vials of blood fell on the tracks. On a photo posted on the internet there is a mid-sized transport quadcopter lying upside-down straddling one of the rails, its payload facing the sky. Law enforcement authorities stressed in a statement the device was a property of pharma company that operated drone with the purpose of delivering blood samples. The company had all the necessary documents required to operate device legally. Taking into account that a number od drone-related incidents has increased in India in recent years – the appearance of a drone on the tracks of a rail system poses great risks to security.
