UAV lost stability in the air
Robotic helicopter “Ingenuity”, belonging to NASA, lost stability in the air during its flight to Mars. Fortunately, the device managed to land safely. The flight took place on 22 May.
After making a comprehensive analysis of the incident, NASA Research Center staff detected a failure in one of the systems that is responsible for maintaining stability in the air. All Ingenuity flights are autonomous, but engineers create instructions for each individual UAV flight.
