Airports located in various cities around the world, such as Dublin, Sydney and Newark, have been forced to suspend flights and close airspace due to the appearance of suspicious UAVs. In September 2020, another drone-related incident occured. Airplane “EasyJet”, on board of which there were 186 passengers, after taking off from Manchester airport, was on the verge of collision with a drone.

Airprox (UKAB), which investigates the incident, classified the incident as Category A incident. This means that there was a serious risk of collision with the aircraft.
