On Thursday, a meeting was held at Yeager Airport, located in the West Virginia, during which representatives of the airport, the Federal Aviation Administration and the FBI reflected on the issues related to the illegal use of unmanned aerial vehicles. Not so long ago, two cases were recorded when suspicious UAVs were illegally exploited at the airport.

Air Operations Manager at Yeager Airport,Russell Kenedy, emphasized that unauthorized use of UAVs is considered as federal crime which implies severe consequences for drone pilots. Kenedy also emphasized the need to maintain contact with aircraft pilots in order to successfully detect and eliminate threats arising from the improper use of UAVs.
