A military-grade unmanned aerial vehicle called ‘Orion’ crashed in the Russian town of Listvyanka. The aircraft landed in close proximity to homes of residents. Fortunately, no one was hurt during this incident.

According to a statement made by regional transport investigative committee the drone flew a test flight. Final destination of aircraft was nearby airport where representatives of special services were waiting for it.

The investigators emphasized that probable reason of crash was a “systems failure”. Company Kronshtadt Group, which specializes in production of unmanned aerial vehicles, offered to assist in the investigation.
