Europa League football match was suspended because of drone activity
The Europa League football game between Luxembourgish football club Dudelange and Azerbaijani club Qarabag had to be halted in the first half because of suspicious drone flying over the field with an Armenian flag.
Such drone activity infuriated Qarabag players, who tried to land the device with the help of ball. Consequently the referee decided to suspend a play for more than 20 minutes. The match later was resumed and Qarabag won 4-1.
According to the statement made by the EU steering body ” the judging panel will give to the UEFA the official reports on the basis of which the UEFA will decide whether to begin official investigation of case or not”.
