On October 23, border officials of the city of Brest, located in Belarus, managed to terminate the attempt to illegally smuggle cigarettes to Poland. The incident took place on the Belarusian-Polish border. The lawbreakers deployed a heksakopter with excellent lifting and power characteristics. As a result, the border guards managed to shoot down the device using the highly effective Groza-P2 rifle, developed in Belarus.

Taking into account the upsurge in the number of attempts to illegally transport cigarettes and other materials using drones, the State Border Committee is seriously reflecting on delievery of Groza-P2 rifle to border guards.
