Houthi hostile UAV was shot down
The Arab coalition in Yemen, headed by Saudi Arabia, managed to take control of hostile UAV, apparently launched by terrorists Houthi in the direction of the city of Najran, located in Saudi Arabia. The unmanned aerial vehicle was equipped with perilious explosive materials.
Colonel Turki al-Maliki, coalition spokesman, emphasized that the unmanned aircraft was launched on purpose in order to conduct an attack on civilians.
The civil war in Yemen was initiated in 2014 after terrorists Houthi сonquered most of the country, along with the capital Sana’a. The crisis worsened in 2015, when an Arab coalition carried out air attacks aimed at suppressing the territorial expansion of the Houthi rebels. The military conflict has led to the death of 10 thousand Yemeni residents, along with civilians.
