Two Singapore citizens, Ed Chen Junyuan and his friend Tay Miow Seng were accused of illegal use of two drones within 5km of Paya Lebar Air Base.

The prosecution demands $3,000 fine for accused emphasizing that devices posed a serious threat to aircraft safety. The defense insists on penalty between S$500 and S$1,000.

Chen could have been obliged to pay a fine of S$20,000 for unauthorised drone operating within 5km of an airbase.
