Kaspersky has developed its counter-drone software in response to threats posed by civilian drones to airports and other objects.

Software consists of several hardware modules which can distinguish unmanned aerial vehicles from other objects. The first module uses video cameras, audio sensors and radar in order to detect the aircraft. Also the company integrated a laser scanner into device which allows to determine the position of a drone.

Additionally the device composes of a special neural network which after the detection of drone sends a signal to dedicated unit with the purpose of jamming of radio transmission between the drone and it’s operator.
