Unmanned aerial vehicles become more and more popular in today’s world. They can be used for different purposes which include the detection of forest fires and lost people, the monitoring of urban areas.

But at the same time there are a lot of obstacles which the drone industry must tackle in order to unleash it’s full potential.

For this purpose, a new international standard called ISO 21384-3 has been issued. It contains the main requirements for the safe use of unmanned aerial vehicles.

According to a statement made by the Chair of the ISO subcommittee, John Walker, the new standard will be advantageous to different uses of such gadgets.
