Despite strong criticism of the incident in which a drone was deployed to film a child with autism, the Civil Aviation Authority of Ireland emphasized in it’s statement that law enforcement did not have enough information to proceed with the investigation. The incident occured in a park located in the Irish city of Cork. The police in their statement stressed that the law does not prohibit the use of UAVs in the park, but the use of UAV for illegal video filming of people being in it can be considered as a violation of the law. After consultations, law enforcement officials considered that they could not make step forward in investigation due to the small amount of information.
