On Saturday, the appearance of errant drone in close vicinity to firefighting helicopter caused suspension of extinguishing a forest fire. The incident took place in th village of Lytton located in Canada. BC Wildfire Service Information Officer Madison Smith emphasized in a statement that using a drone near a fire brigade’s helicopter could pose a direct threat to personnel safety. In the event of  a drone collision with a fire plane, the consequences could be catastrophic. The incident is being investigated.
