UK drone operators will be obliged to register their devices with Civil Aviation Authority until the end of November. The registration is compulsory for pilots whose unmanned aerial vehicle weights more than 250g. People who won’t register their aircrafts will be on the verge of paying a fine.

the CAA has already launched a Drones Reunited platform – service that will help to connect operators with their disappeared drones. The operators who succedeed in registration of their devices will have free access to the platform.

Jonathan Nicholson, CCA spokesperson, emphasized that Drones Reunited platform will become a valuable resource for the drone industry.

Also, people aged over 18 will have to pass an online test in order to show their understanding of how to operate a drone securely.
